Beaconsfield Deck Renovation. The Beaconsfield deck was in good condition however with a substantial replacement deck on two sides, there was a real issue with the difference in colour between the existing and new Merbau timber.
The new owner wanted to keep the natural colour variations of the new Merbau, so it was decided to strip the Brown finish off the old deck to make it blend with the new.
Our stripping machine did a great job in reviving the original uncoated finish on the old deck. This allowed us to re-oil the old deck in readiness for the owner to oil the new section.
The photos show just what a difference the Stripping makes on old stained Merbau. It looks almost like brand new raw material.
We completed a section of the new deck just to make sure the result was exactly what the owner desired.
